Valère L'Envers y Aragon (the Lugalin Valère-Shamabarsin)

Barquiel's daughter, Valère is married to the Lugal of Khebbel-im-Akkad, the Khalif's son, Sinaddan-Shamabarsin. In Khebbel-im-Akkad, she is titled the Lugalin Valère-Shamabarsin. Sinaddan and Valère give only the barest bit of aid in Phèdre and Joscelin's quest to find Imriel. Sinaddan provides a guide after Phèdre uses the password of House L'Envers to force Valère to ask for his aid. When Phèdre and Joscelin emerge victorious from Drujan with Imriel in tow, Valère tries to have him killed. Phèdre thinks it is out of misplaced loyalty to House L'Envers, believing Imriel's existence a threat to Ysandre's throne.
