Night Court - Mandrake House

The Mandrake House canon is sadism and dominance.  Members of Mandrake are one of two Houses that use the signale, Valerian House being the other.  Mandrake members use the signale for the benefit of the patron.
House motto: Yield all.

Please visit the gallery of gifts that have been graciously bestowed on Mandrake House by our patrons.

Mandrake House, with the approval of its members:

Mandrake House ..."Yield All". Mandrake adepts are skilled in various arts of domination and sadism, known to free patrons' bodies and spirits through the use of constraints and yielding. Mandrake provides the foil to Valerian, allowing the patrons' yielding to the trust in their adepts to experience pleasure in powerful ways. The Mandrake plant features a beautiful violet flower to entice bugs, but its roots below hold hallucinogenic properties used in a variety of arts. It is said that through pain the body and the mind can be taken to higher levels as the brain does its best to compensate for such distress. With a trusting patron and a skilled adept, Mandrakes can bring patrons to new heights of pleasure. House adepts are trained in a variety of arts and skills, starting from the elements of breath play, moving up to rope play, and into flechettes. Skills in flagellation and subsets in crops, cats-o'-nine tails, canes, and paddling are also learned. With skills in such arts, truly skillful Mandrake adepts must inspire trust, comfort, and an understanding amongst patrons that will allow for a true bonding experience between patron and adept. This trust will be the only way to allow for the most free expression between the two. Mandrake adepts must be truly giving, in that the pleasure and pain inflicted upon each patron must be delivered in a spirit of unearthing a side usually hidden to the rest of the world. Patrons of Mandrake House come to unearth different sides of themselves, find pleasures that are usually kept secreted, whether because they enjoy the punishments or a safe place to let themselves go, and surrender to the pleasure and pain that is completely out of their control. Mandrake adepts must be skilled in a variety of aspects of lovemaking and knowledge of patrons to allow their bodies and mind to surrender to the true pleasures that the body is capable of handling. Mandrake adepts must be able to allow true freedom of the mind-body connection to emerge through a variety of measures just like the root of the mandrake plant can let the mind emerge in different ways.
